Family & Resident Council

At Parkview, we believe residents and their families play an essential role in shaping the quality of life in our community. Two active councils support this goal.

Resident Council (Parkview Village)

Comprised of elected resident representatives from the Apartments, Suites, and Clusters, this council works collaboratively with staff and administration to provide feedback, recommend improvements, and organize community-building activities. Members are elected annually, and the Council serves as a key communication bridge between residents and Parkview’s leadership.

Family Council (Parkview Home)

The Family Council is made up of family members of residents living at Parkview Home. It serves as a structured forum for families to provide input, advocate for residents’ well-being, and collaborate with staff to support a positive care environment. Meetings and education sessions are held quarterly and are open to all interested family members.

Both councils:

  • Provide a forum for feedback and dialogue
  • Partner with staff on wellness initiatives and programs
  • Support orientation and engagement for new residents and families
  • Encourage a positive, inclusive living environment
