Welcome to Parkview Village, a vibrant community designed with an abundance of shared indoor and outdoor spaces for tenants and residents to use and actively participate in. Our ethos is centred around fostering a strong sense of community and ensuring our residents and tenants feel at home. We strive to keep everyone well-informed about the various programs on offer through our monthly calendar of activities, communication memos and newsletter. These publications serve as a comprehensive guide to showcase the myriad of activities that our residents and tenants can partake in. Our amenities are thoughtfully curated to cater to a wide range of interests. For the book lovers, we have a well-stocked library that offers a quiet and serene space for reading. For those who enjoy a bit of friendly competition, we have a ping pong table, a shuffleboard, and a pool table. Fitness enthusiasts can take advantage of our well-equipped fitness rooms to stay active and healthy. We host weekly programs and monthly special events in our spacious common rooms, providing opportunity to socialize, learn new skills and have fun. These events range from fitness classes and hobby clubs to festive celebrations and cultural events, ensuring there’s something for everyone. In addition, we have an on-site hairstylist. This allows our residents to enjoy professional hair care services without the need to travel far. Parkview Village’s Last Resort is a small ‘tuck shop’ which has bread, soup and frozen meals available for purchase. Drop in during office hours and see what is available each week, for the sheer convenience, especially if you don’t feel like cooking.
Parkview Village has a well-equipped library located by a cozy fireplace on the lower level. Books and puzzles are available to borrow.
Our activities are arranged by our Program Department and include: movies, spiritual programs, exercise classes, crafts & hobbies, games, special events, bus trips and more. If gardening is more your style, you can reserve a solarium space, or a garden plot located on our scenic, 12.5-acre property.
The Activity Rooms are used for cards and games such as Euchre, Mahjong and Bingo. Residents may be book the activity room for small group gatherings.

Worship Service and Bible Study is held weekly.
The Café is open from 10;00 am-1:00 pm, twice a week and weekly for Coffee Time. This beautiful, sunny space is also used for other social gatherings, including the monthly birthday party, to meet up with friends and neighbours!

Parkview Housing and York Region Subsidized Housing application forms are available at the information table located in the front of the Parkview Village office or here: Parkview Housing Application Form . Once your completed application form is received, your name is added to Parkview’s waiting list. Subsidy applications forms are to be mailed directly to York Region.
